Anthony Keith "Tony " Gwynn (born May 9, 1960 in Los Angeles, California) is a previous Major League Baseball right fielder. One of a better hitters of everthing-instance, Gwynn played for the San Diego Padres his entire career (1982-2001). He threw & batted left-handed.
The graduate of San Diego State University - where he besides played basketball and set the school record for assists, Gwynn broke in by having San Diego as a a share-half-time outfielder in 1982, appearing in 54 games & batting .289.
